Returns & Exchanges Policy

At West Cork Silver (trading as Browne & Gray Ltd), we want you to love your jewellery as much as we loved creating it.
If for any reason you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’ll do our best to make things right — within the guidelines below.

1. Returns Overview

You may return or exchange non-custom items within 14 days of delivery, in line with Irish and EU consumer protection legislation.
To start a return, please email us at hello@westcorksilver.ie with your order number and reason for return.
We’ll guide you through the process and provide the correct return details.

2. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must be:
• Unworn and in original condition (no scratches, marks, or signs of wear)
• In their original packaging (box, pouch, and any certificates or inserts)
• Returned within 14 days of notifying us

We recommend using a tracked postal service to ensure safe return.
We cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

3. Custom, Limited Edition & Made-to-Order Pieces

Many of our pieces are handcrafted individually, made to order, or part of a limited series.
These items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival.

Examples include:
• Items made to a specific size, engraving, or finish
• Limited-edition collections or waitlist releases
• Bespoke commissions

This policy does not affect your statutory rights if an item is defective.

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

Every piece is carefully checked before dispatch. However, if your jewellery arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately at hello@westcorksilver.ie with photos and your order number.
We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund (including return postage).

5. Refunds

Once we receive your return and confirm its condition, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Original delivery costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

6. Exchanges

If you’d prefer an exchange for another item, we’ll do our best to accommodate you depending on stock availability.
If the replacement item differs in price, we will either refund or charge the difference before dispatch.

7. Gifts & Gift Cards

Items purchased as gifts can be returned for an exchange or store credit (gift card) provided the same conditions as above are met.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
